COVID TERMS - RELEASE & ASSUMPTION OF RISK 

San Diego Ultra Running Friends will feasibly adhere to public health guidelines. By registering for any San Diego Ultra Running Friends event, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

I have voluntarily decided to participate in the live events conducted by San Diego Ultra Running Friends. I agree that I will not attend the event if I have a fever, any symptoms of COVID or if I have been in close proximity to any other person who has contracted COVID in the last fourteen (14) days. San Diego Ultra Running Friends, or the venue where the event is held, may require the wearing of a mask at all times when not eating or drinking, socially distancing to the extent possible or other measures to promote a safe environment. 

I understand that attending the event(s) poses an inherent risk of exposure to the COVID virus and that no amount of care, caution or preventative action can eliminate this risk. I am aware of this risk, but nevertheless expressly and voluntarily assume and accept all risk, on behalf of myself, my guests or invitees and my minor children, of sickness, illness, or injury up to and including death as a result of attendance or participation in the event including but not limited to exposure to COVID. I agree that I will inform my guests or invitees of this acknowledgment made on their behalf. 

In addition, I agree, individually and on behalf of my assigns, heirs, guardians or legal representatives, that I will not make a claim against or sue San Diego Ultra Running Friends, the venue where the event is held or any representatives of the foregoing for any injury, damage or death arising from or relating to my participation or attendance in the event, including but not limited to illness or injury as a result of contracting COVID at the event, and including but not limited to claims for active or passive negligence. I release San Diego Ultra Running Friends, the venue where the event is held, or any representatives of the foregoing from any and all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions or causes of action that I or my assignees, heirs, guardians or legal representatives now have or may in the future have arising from or relating to any damage, injury or death resulting from my participation or attendance at the event(s).
